NO COMPROMISE
I think that the titles speaks for itself. As Christians, we should live lives with no comrpomise. Many Christians today think that because they are "saved by grace" they have an excuse to be living in sin. They don't realize that this "greasy grace" mentality isn't biblical. In order to be saved, one must repent, along with putting their trust in Jesus Christ and confessing him and believing in their heart that he is the son of God. People think that they can be saved without repentance, which doesn't work. Jesus said "repent and be baptized," why would he say to repent if he didn't mean it? He wouldn't. If you claim to be saved, and think you are going to go to heaven, but have not repented, you are probably decieved. It is not possible to be a Christian yet contually living in sin. No, you will not be perfect and always living in holiness, you will sin and you will mess up, but when you recognize your sin and turn from it, that is repentance. I do believe that you can be a Christian, and still have compromise in your life. What have you been compromising on? Is it the music you listen to? Does it bring glory to God? What about the movies you watch? Would you watch them with your pastor sitting right next to you? How about the friends your hangout with? Do they encourage you to be a better Christian and confront and correct you when needed? Or do they bring you down, and not take a stance on anything? There are so many areas that Christians will compromise their faith in. I don't want to be one. When someone is continually in the word, and in prayer, they will not have the desire to compromise their faith. They will want to let their light shine before men. They will want to live their live as an example to the lost... if someone could watch your life, would they see someone who contiually is in prayer, in the Word of God, someone who's life brings glory to God, or w ould they see someone who at church is a good Christian, but around friends and at school is completely different? I know I have fallen in this category. Many times. Until I actually fell in Love with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I only wanted to please people, and eventually, I could care lses about what they thought and started living only for myself. Maybe if someone watched your life, from the outside, it looked like a great Christian life, but what if they could watch your thoughts? What goes on in your head? Compromise isn't only outwardley, but can be a matter of the heart. What do you think about continually, is it about how you can more expand the kingdom of God, or about how you can't wait to wait to go to church or school, just to see the person you like? Check your motives, I know that I have had to. What drives you to do the things you do? Is it a genuine love for God, or is it to please your pastor, parents, or leader? Or is it becaue of your love for God? Check yourself, do you have compromise in your life?

First post!
Well, I'm new to blogging and I have absolutely no idea what I am supposed to write about, but here I go. I don't know what to write about, I just sat down at my computer and decided I wanted to write a blog.... I guess the possibilities are endless on what to write about. I could write about my llamas, or about my turtles, I could write about how I am graduating and all of my great memories from school, or I could write something completely random like about how I hate cats. But.... I've come to the conclusion that I won't have any specific topic for this blog, since it is a first blog. But whoever may be reading this, I just want you to know one little thing about me... and that is. I don't really know. There is too many things to list, so I'm not going to try to explain myself to the world... I will let it remain a mystery, unless you already know me, of course, than that previous statement you can disregard. But any who.... looks like this is my first blog, and I will try to post a new one each month. Gosh, how do you end these things? I could end it like the speech I gave for my senior project presentation night... "I'm done."
